The OnPAS will be implemented with the following technical specifications:
Database - driven content: contents
will all be extracted from a my SQL database to be hosted on the client’s own server in the customer premises.
Webserver will be the Apache Web Server running on Linux operating system.
These technologies have proven themselves to be robust and reliable for serving web pages. In the June 2001 survey of internet web servers done by Security Space (http://www.securityspace.com/s_survey/data/200106/index.html), 60% of the 3 million plus servers ran on Apache.
